The Always On range of services offers intelligent solutions for managing 2 problems that affect many companies: ensuring the continuity of a published service and guaranteeing high-performance (5,000 Mbps) and reliable access bandwidth, while keeping costs up to 80% lower than dedicated line solutions (e.g. GbE). There are 3 types of service: Always On, Always On Speed Up and Always On Speed Up Prime Care, which differ in technology and value-added service. It is a versatile and economical service, very useful as a Cloud Connector.
Always On, the intelligent DNS balancer
Always On is a system that makes the high availability of your services possible. When one of these is offline or has a problem, Always On sends a notification (via Telegram, Slack, email or SMS) triggering a series of automations aimed at restoring the service within seconds. Here is an example:
The user tries to access your web server (e.g. a website);
The web server is no longer reachable and the Always On probe detects it;
DNS Recovery steps in, making the web server reachable again by choosing an alternative path, switching to a different IP;
The user accesses the web server without noticing any disruption.
Always On Speed Up, versatile and suitable for every company
Step 1
A device, transparent to the LAN, is installed upstream of the current Gateway (e.g. Firewall).
Step 2
External lines are connected, even from different providers and using different WAN-side technologies.
Step 3
The inbound and outbound gateway is accessible from a single public IP, independent of your providers.
Maximum power and reliability inbound
If a data line fails, your published services remain available, using the lines still up, with no substantial disruption for your connected users.
Maximum power and reliability outbound
If a data line fails, traffic is rerouted onto the available data lines without substantial disruption; at the same time, a notification is sent by email or SMS to your IT contact.

The included hardware has a total of 6 LAN/WAN ports – up to 5,000 Mbps, 2 USB ports and 1 Console port.

Monitoring always connected to the Sundata NOC
A monitoring and control device always connected to the Sundata NOC via a dedicated, independent SIM; it allows our staff to be informed in real time of what is happening on the system. In the event of critical state changes (e.g. the loss of a line connected to the Always On service) you will be contacted by our Customer Care, which will notify you of the type of event and, where appropriate, the actions to take for a resolution.
